No scanner? Your phone camera plus a browser is enough. The trick is what happens after the photo: contrast cleanup and packaging multiple pages into a single PDF — all of which can run directly on the phone.
Scan in 4 steps
- Open the Camera scanner on your phone and allow camera access (or pick photos you already took).
- Photograph each page — straight on, with the page filling most of the frame.
- Keep the phone parallel to the paper and fill the frame — the tool doesn't crop or straighten photos for you.
- Choose a mode ("B&W document" is great for text), then save all pages as one PDF.
Getting the sharpest result
- Light from the side, not from behind you — avoids your own shadow on the page.
- Dark background under white paper makes the page edges easy to see, so you can frame it straight.
- Hold still or rest your elbows on the table; blur hurts more than low resolution.
After scanning
Combine multiple sessions with Merge PDF, shrink the result for email with Compress, or run OCR if you need to search or copy the text later. Since everything runs locally, scans of IDs and contracts never leave your phone.

No. Correction and PDF packaging happen on your device — safe for ID cards and private paperwork.
Can I rescan just one bad page?
Delete the bad shot, retake it, and rebuild (new shots go to the end, so retake in order), or fix the order later with Organize pages.
